The disappointment after four promising dates is still real. It sounds as though ending it early protected what the author actually wants without treating the woman’s move or preference against long distance as wrongdoing.

i feel this so much. im at eight months and i do exactly the same thing. keep apologising just to keep the peace. its soul destroying.
