- Delete their contact info properly so the name stops popping up. Seriously, just get a friend to change the number in your phone to something else so you cant just tap the chat and start typing again. Give your phone to a mate for the weekend if you have to.

- Write down a list of the specific things you think you would lose if you were in a real relationship. Look at that list for ten minutes every day this week without contacting him. Be honest with yourself about whether those things are actually worth five years of his life.
