-   I actually think you’ve handled the ugly realisation better than a lot of people would. You were clear when she asked, she believed you, and now you’re not pretending she owes you the old arrangement back. It might still turn out that jealousy was the thing that exposed feelings you hadn’t clocked yet. Just don’t make her responsible for proving which one it is.
